As business owners, you should know the decisions made at the Statehouse effect your day-to-day life. The elected officials in the state legislature and Governor’s office decide issues such as tax policy and rates, funding priorities, environmental initiatives, etc… Do you remember when state governments were making critical decisions on when and how to open certain business at the start of the pandemic? (Marine businesses could stay open in Ohio). How about when Icebreaker was seeking state support to build their Lake Erie wind farm? (They didn’t get it).
These issues highlight why it is so important for the recreational boating industry to come together to help support the campaigns for candidates who are going to be supportive of your business interests, and the interests of Ohio’s precious waterways.
The Boat Ohio PAC has long been a tool for the industry to collect resources to make contributions to candidates who support our industry. We are asking for your help. We want to make sure candidates who understand your business prevail in their elections. We have been able to support those candidates over the last couple of years, but we need to replenish our resources.
